Is alcohol on itself the enemy?
No. It’s not a life form, its fuel, such as gasoline, ethanol is just poison. But it holds some power when you interact with it, like with a knife. Taking a bit of poison (drinking) won’t put you immediately in danger; mind & body easily manages to recover from it, thankfully. In that respect, nature jus acts as you would recover from a scratch (ore open wound). However, ethanol brings more harm through repetition. When poison is accumulated over time though very low dosages, it will build up and affect sooner or later. The poison being ethanol is a fact: if you would drink two glasses of pure alcohol, it will kill you. And if you keep scratching yourself (with poison), it will also eventually kill you.
